farm buildings to rear
of Woodend Farmhouse.

GV II

Shippon and hay loft: c.1715 for Hugh Mottram. English garden wall
bond purple-red brick. Kerridge stone-slate roof and stone ridge.
Rectangular plan. 2 storeys with dentilated brick band at 1st floor
and sawtooth bond at eaves level or gable. South front has 2 board
doors with flat brick heads and 2 square pitch holes with wooden flaps
above.
Remainder of the courtyard of buildings is of the same period but
reduced in height and altered.
