Farmhouse. c.1720. Red English garden wall bond brick with slate
roof. Three storeys. Entrance front: Four bays. To either side are
square turrets with pyramidal roofs flush with front. Neither has any
windows to this front although the left hand one has evidence of
blocked windows to ground and first floors. Brick bands between
floors. C20 entrance porch slightly to left of centre with C20 glazed
door. Pairs of 2-light casements to either side with cambered heads.
Four similar windows to first floor. Five C20 2-light casement
windows to second floors at which time the openings were made. C20
extension to right. Rear: Strip staircase window to left of centre
now partly bricked up and consisting of two 2-light casements. C19
and C20 extensions to rear.
Interior: One ground floor room has bolection moulded panelling.
Panelled arch to staircase hall with dropped keystone. Staircase of 4
flights with panelled newels and ramped cresting to deep handrail.
Four 5-panel doors in original reveals to first floor landing.
