SJ 68 NW POULTON-WITH-FEARNHEAD MEAD ROAD OFF GREEN LANE

Originally 3 small cottages but 2 of the units now converted into a
single dwelling, late C17 with alterations. Small bricks, with later
cement rendering, slate roof in diminished courses with sandstone
ridge. The west cottage is 2-storey l-bay, the other has 2 bays due
to combination of units. Old, ledged and battened doors in heavy oak
frames with strap hinges, 3 light horizontal sliding sashes to smaller
cottage, 3-light later casements to the other. The three chimney
stacks remain.
Interior: Bevelled oak beams and exposed oak purlins.
