Mid C18. 4 storeys and parapet. 4 windows. Painted-brick with stone lintels,
cills, bands above each floor, cope and rustic quoins. Glazing bar sashes
on 3rd floor, modern casements in other windows. Ground floor modernised.
39A - large rear extension: 4 storeys and 9 windows, early to mid C19 with
slightly lower 2 window extension to east; visible from Green Dragon Yard
and contributing to its group value. Cobbled alley at side of this extension
with a large tripartite doorway with moulded stone surround at west end.
