A most attractive old house, probably C17 with C18 and early C19 alterations
and additions. Brick colour washed front, parapet and plain stone cope; Stone
cill courses and plinth. Two storeys with attic to rear. Three windows, flush
framed glazing bar sash windows. Pantiled roof. Full height bows flanking
entrance right-hand bow having sash shutters stone fender in front of each bow.
Good stone doorpiece with architraves. Consoles and pediment; half glazed door
lead rainwater pipe and head. Picturesque rear front and side elevations.
This item includes the gate piers into the yard on the North-West side, mainly
because the left-hand pier is built into the house: They are panelled with
moulded caps.
