- Wringworthy Farmhouse
GV II
Bank barn with shippon on ground floor and threshing floor above and probably stable
to left. Circa 1840s. Stone rubble with slate-hung right-hand gable end. Cement-
washed scantle slate roof with gable ends and lower scantle slate roof to range on
left. Rectangular plan with ramp up to first floor opening on rear.
2 storeys asymmetrical front; ground floor openings with dressed stone segmental
arches. Left-hand range with plank door on left and window opening to right with
first floor window near centre. Main range with plank door on left, 2 windows
flanking wide partly blocked opening to left of centre and 2 wide door openings to
right. First floor with double threshing doors near centre of elevation with window
opening to left in dressed stone arch, 2-light window opening with shutters below
eaves to right and row of pigeon holes below eaves to left. Stone rubble ramp to
double threshing door on rear.
