Farmhouse, now house. Late C17, with alterations and additions of C19 and C20.
Painted stone rubble. Asbestos slate roof with ridge tiles and gable ends; gable end
stacks, with painted rubble shaft to right, slate-hung shaft to left, both with
cornice and shaped top. Slate-hung gable end to left.
Plan: 2-room plan, with central entrance to passage; each room heated by gable end
stack. Later rear service wing of one-room plan, to rear right, probably of C19.
Exterior: 2 storeys, irregular 3-window range, all windows C20 casements. First
floor has 3-light casement to right and left, half-glazed door with C20 single light
to right. C20 rooflight to left. Left side has single storey rubble lean-to. Right
side has external stack and first floor string course. Rear has gabled wing of 2
storeys, with chamfered end wall and C20 windows.
Interior: Room to left has granite fireplace with flat chamfered lintel; cupboard
recess in rear wall. Room to right has cross beams with chamfer and step stop;
fireplace with timber lintel. Roof trusses have chamfered principals.
