Chapel over holy well. C14/C15, restored c. 1890. Roughly coursed granite and
sandstone rubble with corbelled stone roof with gable ends. The jambs of the
doorway, the rib and corbels of the roof, as well as the niches, are of a green
freestone from the parish of Landrake. Pavement was formerly of red and green glazed tiles.
Single cell plan with entrance to west and well or bath at east end sunk in floor.
Single storey chapel, about 3 metres by 2 metres, with steeply pitched roof
swept out to form projecting eaves. West doorway has a steeply pointed arch
with 3 roll mouldings, jambs with pintles remaining from door. Built into the slope of the ground to east, no other external openings.
Interior Stone vaulted roof supported by single chamfered rib springing from moulded corbel left and right. Lancet-shaped niche in east wall with ogee head. Ogee-headed aumbry in south wall. Water sink to east.
