Lychgate. First built 1632, possibly rebuilt circa early C19. Dressed slatestone
with low pitched scantle slate roof with cusped wooden bargeboards. Square on plan
with side walls only. Covered walkway north-south. Dressed stone jambs linked by
segmental arched wooden lintels with moulded edges and plain plaster gables over.
Interior has granite cattle grid (spaces between now filled); side ledges with wooden
seats and 2-bay arch braced roof structure incorporating reused oak. Including cast
iron stand pump at approx 2 metres south-east.
