Public house, including its adjoining outbuildings. Circa late C18 or early C19.
Coursed granite front, otherwise painted rubble. Concrete tile roof with gable ends.
Plan: Double depth plan, remodelled slightly in the C20. Originally parlour on the
left, wider kitchen/living room on the right flanking an entrance hall leading to
rear stair hall between back kitchen on the left and probably pantry on the right.
C19 outbuilding adjoining at rear left.
Exterior: 2 storeys. Regular 4 window south-east front with doorway under second
from left-hand window door. C20 12-pane horned sashes. Third from left first floor
window is blocked. There is a reused chamfered lintel over a blocked opening into
the left-hand wall and 2 hollow chamfered arch stones over central niche in
outbuilding (former stables).
