Tomb chest. 1713. In memory of William, the son of Peter Hickes of Nanscow (qv) who
died in 1713. Stone rubble chest with moulded granite cornice and rectangular slate
lid. Marginal inscription with verse in central panel. Inscribed in upper and lower
case lettering with serifs.
