9/116 Cross about 6 metres north east of
- Treliggon Farmhouse
GV II
Cross. Pre-Conquest. Granite monolith, with shaft and wheelhead, about one metre
and 30 centimetres high. The shaft is rectangular on plan, with a roll-moulding
carved at all four corners. The wheelhead has a carved raised Latin cross with
central roundel to front and rear. Roughly hewn.
The cross has been re-sited, probably used at one time as a gatepost, with one iron
pintle remaining in the shaft. This cross is not listed as an ancient monument.
