Built as a bird and fish museum with former stables behind, now a shop and public
conveniences.Circa 1820s.Stuccoed walls.Dry Delabole slate roof with gable ends
and brick chimney over the rear gable end. Plan: shop (former museum) at the front and one-room-plan former museum keepers cottage behind. Adjoining the rear gable end is a range of stables:a single storey two-bay range facing into the courtyard left and with a high mounting block adjoining the right-hand wall and beyond is a two-storey range (reduced in height), now public conveniences.Exterior : two storeys.West facing gable end with large segmental-arched doorway to ground floor and large round arched window opening above.Double top-glazed doors, casement windows with glazing bars. The window over the doorway has a fanlight over a transom and the windows in the side wall, right, have four-centred arched heads. Interior not inspected.
