Chapel of ease. Circa 1880. Snecked slatestone rubble, granite dressings, rock-
faced granite plinth and quoins; slate roofs with crested ridge tiles; deep eaves,
gabled to nave and lower roof over chancel with hips over apsidal east end.
Nave and chancel, with south porch and north vestry. Gothic style.
Nave of 3 bays, on plinth, with weathered buttresses; west gable end has tall paired
lancets with quatrefoil above, cill string and moulded string course carried over
head of windows, bell with pitched roof over to left. South side has 3-light
windows. Deep eaves.
Gabled south porch has granite banding in the masonry, pointed arched doorway to
east, with double doors with strap hinges, paired cusped lancets to south with blind
quatrefoil over and single cusped lancet to west; moulded string course carried over
heads of both windows and door.
Attached to north side of nave, lean-to vestry, with single light to west and door
with shouldered head to east.
Single bay chancel with canted apsidal east end, with triple lancet to south and
single lancet to north, single lancet to each of 3 sides to east.
Interior Pointed arched doorway with double doors with strap hinges from porch to
nave. Nave and chancel have brick walls, plain dado panelling to nave. Nave has 4-
bay arched-brace roof, with arched-braces rising from corbels, upper collars with
king-posts. Tall 4-centred arch with hood mould to chancel. Chancel roof has
moulded ribs and ridge purlin, brattished wall-plate.
Fittings: altar rail on wrought iron piers.
