Farmhouse and adjoining barn. Probably C18, extended in the C19. Granite rubble
with granite dressings. Scantle slate roofs. Brick chimneys over the gable ends of
the house.
Plan: 2 room plan house with wider hall/kitchen left parlour right, and lobby
entrance between. In the C19 a pantry or dairy outshut was added behind the parlour
and a shippon with storage loft or granary was added at the right-hand end. Front
left hand angle between left-hand corner and formerly external stack was filled in,
possibly providing an oven.
Exterior: 2 storeys. Nearly symmetrical 2 window house front with doorway right of
middle but central to the fenestration. C19 4-panel door with flush-beaded bottom
panels. Small lean-to porch with granite monolithic sides and slate roof. Sashes
boarded over.
Barn has doorway towards left with window over and ground and first floor windows
towards right. Lean-to at right hand end.
Interior: not inspected.
