Parish church. Rebuilt in 1828 incorporating masonry from the C15 and earlier church
on the same-site. Granite rubble with granite dressings. Asbestos slate roof with
gable ends.
Plan: rectangular aisle-less plan with tower to middle of west end. South porch.
Exterior: 2-stage embattled west tower. Steep-arched west doorway with 4-centred
arched head with arch stones inverted; cusped 2-light traceried window over doorway
and Y-traceried 2-light windows with slate louvred lights to upper stage. Reused 4-
centred arched doorway to porch and pointed north doorway. Otherwise C19 traceried
Gothic-style windows.
Interior: simple interior with original boarded ribbed barrel ceiling; granite floor
and plastered walls.
fill: octagonal granite front; polygonal pulpit with blind cusped arcade and oak
pews.
Commemorative plaque to rebuilding of 1828 on west wall inscribed to : Rev. William
Tremenheere, Vicar of Madron, Rev. C V Le Grice and Church wardens : Jn E. Sandry, WD
