NY 14 SE BLENNERHASSET & TORPENHOW

5/6 Kirkland Green and
adjoining barn

II

Farmhouse and adjoining barn. Late C18. Painted stucco walls with eaves
cornice and V-jointed quoins on chamfered plinth. Graduated greenslate roof
with chimney stacks. Barn of whitewashed rubble under graduated greenslate
roof. 2 storeys, 4 bays with long lower barn to left. C20 door in painted
stone architrave under pediment. Sash windows in painted stone surrounds. Barn
has ground floor casement windows with oval vents above. Segmental arch into
farmyard to extreme left. Adjoining farmyard buildings are not of interest.
