Large mid C19 mansion, irregular plan, stone and slate rubble with ashlar quoins,
plinth, slate roof with gables, 2 storeys. Bay windows. Upper casement windows
are of long proportions, and narrow, in stone architraves. Square tower on
east end of 4 storeys, topped by Queen Anne gables. Some stone-mullioned windows
of 2 and 3 lights and round heads. Carved and cusped bargeboards. Tall stone
chimneys. Gabled porch with Tudor entrance. Gothic style interior with Tudor
arches. Stable block, not included in the listing.
