Ashlar, with rusticated ground floor. 3 storeys, with stone bands, cornice, centre
clock turret corbelled out, corners cut away, with pilasters. Centre narrow door
and round-headed fanlight (prettily and delicately traceried). Modern shop front
to left. Ionic doorway to right with 2 columns in antis, cornice, 2 2-light windows
on ground floor with round lights, 3 12-paned sash windows on 1st floor in moulded
architraves with cornices on consoles, and 3 plain sashes on top floor. 2 sash
windows on each floor above the shop.
Nos 2 and 4 and Nos 12 to 28 (even) form a group.
