Farmhouse and barn. Dated and inscribed over entrance. C.J.A. 1745. Barn has
doorway dated and inscribed I. & M.C. 1812. Painted roughcast walls with
V-jointed quoins. Graduated greenslate roof with roughcast chimney stacks.
Barn of calciferous sandstone rubble under graduated greenslate roof.
2 storeys, 6 bays with higher right barn. C20 door in shouldered architrave
with bolection frieze and cornice. Sash windows in painted stone architraves.
Further right plank door in V-jointed surround. Barn has central segmental
arch, now fitted with sliding door. All other doorways with red sandstone
surrounds and C20 sliding doors. Central loft doorway and higher oval sandstone
vents.
