Farmhouse and barn. House has lintel reading: "IT/1704", barn dated 1814; later
additions. Rough-cast stone, barn of dressed stone with ashlar dressings; slate
roofs. House of 2 storeys and 5 bays, the 1st an addition, with projecting barn
to right. Coped gable with kneelers. Square windows have chamfered reveals and
casements, probably originally with flat-faced mullions; 2 windows to 5th bay of
ground floor; 1st bay has tall window. Gable porch to 4th bay has return
entrance and inner entrance with dated lintel. Ashlar cross-axial stack has
cap. Barn has 3 cow house entrances and 2 windows; winnowing door has dated
lintel; square ventilation holes. Projecting gable-end stack next to house.
Rear has gabled wing with sashed windows with glazing bars; lean-to outshut with
small-paned fixed glazing with opening lights; 2-light single-chamfered-
mullioned window. Barn has ramp to entrance and lean-to outshut to left, part
of long gabled wing with stone slate roof.
