Road bridge. Dated 1897. Pink sandstone ashlar. Single-span segmental arch
with recessed voussoirs, string course and solid parapets with chamfered
coping. The abutments have stepped buttresses to support 4 rectangular pedestrian refuges.
One of the parapet stones inscribed ON SEPTEMBER XVII MDCCCXCVII
THIS STONE WAS LAID BY THE COUNTESS OF LONSDALE.
