Farmhouse and barn. 2 builds: House dated 1705, with initials G. P. & E. P., on
(reset?) lintel to porch; house extended and barn added later in C18. Later
additions and alterations. Coursed rubble with quoins; farmyard elevation
pebble-dashed, other elevation colour-washed. Graduated slate roofs.
2 storeys, 4 bays overall (3:1). Farmyard elevation was originally rear of
house: Central wing with part-glazed inner door to porch on left and C20
lean-to outbuilding (not of interest) on right; small casements to each floor of
wing on left-hand return. Original house front has C20 casement (in original
surround) with blocked mullioned window, C19 sash, and C19 casement (both with
glazing bars) to left; continuous hoodmould to 2 right-hand bays. Three C20
casements above. Single-bay barn has segment-headed plank wagon door to
farmyard elevation, with outshut to right, and small door to rear. Rendered
mid-chimney; capped, corbelled end chimney to wing. Taller barn and C20
outbuildings adjoining not of interest.
