Enclosure wall to burial ground with re-set memorials on south and west walls.
Drystone rubble walls; 4 memorial slabs. Walls c.4½ ft high with stone stile
built into east wall; slabs all c.4 ft high and c.2½ ft wide. Slabs as follows,
numbering from left to right on south wall:
1) (Originally top to chest tomb). Inscribed in large, debased Roman capitals
(with reversed '?') to Thomas & Mary Wilson; undated, but records give
deaths as occurring in 1684 and 1690 (possibly carved during their lifetime
as gaps for their ages were not filled in).
2) (Segmental head). Inscribed in fine Roman capitals to Sarah, wife of
Thomas Laverick and dated 1729.
3) (Originally top to chest tomb). Inscribed in fine Roman capitals to
Elizabeth & John Morland; dated 1672 and 1682.
(West wall). (Triangular head). Inscribed in flowing script to Robert & John
Robinson; date appears to read 1772, but may be earlier.
(Thomas Lawson's memorial, set against east wall, is listed separately).
