Gateway and railings to a former drive to Stevenstone House (q.v.). Circa 1870. The
piers are sandstone ashlar, square in section with low pyramid caps. 3 define a
carriageway and pedestrian walkway. Each side cast iron railings set into snecked
stone rubble footings and forward to terminal piers identical to the gate piers. The
railings are attractive and unusual. They incorporate 3 bands of fret pattern.
