Former road bridge over West Dart (now hotel drive). Between 1772 and 1797.
Granite rubble with dressed granite voussoirs. 2 segmental arches springing from
imposts and with projecting keystones, triangular cutwater to central pier.
Cambered parapet. The road from Tavistock to Moretonhampstead on which this bridge
was situated was turnpiked by 2 acts of 1772. The bridge is shown in a painting of
1797 by John Swete.
