Detached Cottage. C16 or C17 with rear wing of 1905. Cob, with some stone, stone
plinth, plastered, under half-hipped thatched roof, the wing under slate roof.
Originally a simple 2-room plan; end stacks, that to the left-hand end formerly
external with bake oven bulge visible in lean-to (stone with corrugated iron roof).
Brick shafts. 2-storeys.
Front (to roadside): 2 C20 2-light casement windows; C19 to rear.
Interior: 2 cross beams, 1 chamfered, and probably tenoned into 2 jointed crucks;
double trenched purlins; roof space ceiled.
