Farmhouse. Early C17, remodelled early C20. Rendered stone rubble and cob. Slate
roof with gable ends. Rubble stack at left gable end, lateral hall stack to rear
enclosed in right angled rear projection, which has a truncated former gable end
stack heating first floor only, and lateral stone rubble stack to rear heating
lower end.
3 room and through-passage plan with short 2 storey wing to rear forming overall T-
shaped plan.
2 storeys. 4 window range. Early C20 fenestration of 4 paned horned sashes.
Slated gabled porch.
Interior: hall has ovolo moulded with bar-and-hollow step stopped lintel to
fireplace, which has dressed stone jambs. 2 ovolo-moulded door surrounds with
elaborate bar and fluted stops to durns to each side of staircase to rear of hall.
Creamery on interior front wall of hall. Boxed in hall ceiling beam to centre and
chamfered and stopped bressumer. Much of the interior and the entire roof was
destroyed by fire in 1919.
