Pair of cottages. Probably early C18. Rubble and cob, rendered and colour-washed,
axial stacks with brick shafts, wheat straw-thatched roof with gable ends.
Plan: direct entry into hall with axial stack to right in each dwelling, small

the left cottage has its stack in the centre of the building. Outshut at rear with
a leanto roof added C19.
Exterior: 2 storeys. 2:2 windows, casements with glazing bars, those to left C20.
Door opening in added C20 gabled porches, C20 doors.
Interior: Quince Cottage has hall with chamfered and unstopped axial ceiling beam,
fireplace with stone jambs and unchamfered wooden bressumer, altered late C20.
