House in row. Mid C19. Rendered and scribed, right gable slate hung. Plain
front block, deep wing, left. Three storeys and cellar, 3 windows to ground and
first floors, 4 windows to second floor, all 4-pane sashes, some with horns.
Ground floor has sash in moulded architrave and stone cill, and 2:4:2-pane sash
canted bay; off-centre left is 6-panel door under plain transom light, in deep
reveals and with cornice on consoles. First floor, 2 sashes as below,
architraves, cills to small consoles, then upper level of canted bay to hipped
lead roof. Second floor has 4 sashes to plain stone cills. Plinth, plat-band
at first floor, slight box eaves. Brick stack, left, also large eaves stack at
back, junction with wing. In right return gable is a plank door down stone
steps, giving access to cellar. Included primarily for group value.
