Barn and stable, stable new dwelling. Probably early C18, stable converted C20.
Coursed rubble walls with some timber framing, tiled roofs with gable ends and stone
copings. Barn and stables at right angles. Barn has 2 double wooden doors right
under segmental stone arches. Collar braced roof with tie beams and 2 purlins per
side. Upper purlins are windbraced. Square panel timber frame partitions. Dovecot
holes in right gable. Stable has C20 fenestration. "RCHM, Dorset, Vol III" p 140,
no 7.
