Gates and Gate Piers at South entrance to Abbey Close

Ashlar gate piers with low plinth, capping and ball finials. Two gates; each gate has two lock rails with inset scroll panelling and a top rail with slightly inverted curve. Uprights with spiked finials rise alternately to two different heights, that is alternately above the lock rail and above the top most rail.

All the listed buildings in Abbey Close form a group with the east end of No 1 Finger Lane.
