PLAN: original orangery was a single-cell rectangular building with three bays of large windows at front. In about the mid-late C19 it was converted into a cottage, a floor was inserted and a small wing was built at the back. Classical style.
EXTERIOR: two storeys, originally single storey. Symmetrical front, the three bay centre breaks forwards with a moulded stone pediment and cornice, surmounted by urns. Three full-height windows with gauged-brick flat arches, now interrupted by inserted floor and with two-light sashes with glazing bars inserted, the centre ground floor now a doorway with side- lights. Across the front of the ground floor is a five bay wooden trellis verandah. At rear a C19 gable-ended wing with a sixteen-pane sash in the end wall, and flanking outshuts.
