Farmhouse, early C17 with extensive C18 extensions. Early part of banded
flint, stone and brick, later part of brick with some ashlar dressings.
Tiled roofs with end brick copings and brick stacks. Ground floor of
earlier part has 3-light stone mullioned windows below and 3-light timber
casements above. Central 2-light stone mullioned window at intermediate
level. C18 extension symmetrical of 3 bays, 2 storeys and attics. Large
C19 sashes with vertical glazing bars under flat brick arches. Central
porch. Upper floor central has a round headed window with ashlar architrave.

Internal features (RCHM): collared tie-beam trusses. (RCHM, Dorset,
vol V, p 67, no. 8).
