Barn and gin-gang,
6/2 30 metres west of West
Brandon Old Farmhouse

Former threshing barn and gin-gang. Early-mid C19. Coursed rubble barn has
dressed quoins and pantiled roof with stone-flagged eaves. Gin-gang has rubble
piers with late C20 brick infill and pantiled roof. Large, 2-storey barn,
facing stockyard, has 3 Dutch doors and breathers to ground floor. 2 boarded
openings and breathers above. Rear has several altered openings, central
external stone stair and gin-gang attached to left. Large, semi-octagonal
gin-gang has rectangular-plan piers and low-pitched roof. C20 single-storey
addition to front of barn and late C20 barn to left not of special interest.
