7/30 Green Hill Farmhouse
and attached outbuilding

Farmhouse with attached outbuilding. Late C18. Narrow red brick in English
garden wall bond; farmhouse has rubble rear wall. Pantiled roofs with old brick
chimneys. 2-storey, 3-bay farmhouse has central, replaced 6-panel door and blind
fanlight in C20 open-pedimented doorcase; replaced 12-pane sashes with projecting
sills and flat arches of gauged brick; cogged eaves. Roof has coped gables,
shaped kneelers and 2 end chimneys. Set-back, 2-storey, one-bay outbuilding to
right has single C20 casement and a renewed pantiled roof. Rear of farmhouse
has brick quoins and replaced sashes including a mid-wall, round-arched stair
window. One-storey outbuilding attached to rear and similar detached outbuilding,
under hipped roof, not of special interest.
