Lead mine lodging shop and level. Probably early Cl9. Sandstone rubble shop
with quoins and ashlar dressings; stone-flagged roof. Coursed rubble level
walls supporting roughly-shaped arch.
Shop 2 storeys, 3 bays. Flat stone lintels over empty doors in 2 right bays,
and 2 wide first-floor openings in outer bays with flat stone sils. Level
entrance, c. 3 metres to right, is c. 1.5 metres high, with segmental arch.
Included for historical interest as a relic of the major industry in the area
in the Cl9.
