House, second quarter of C19. Front squared stone with tooled-and-margined
quoins and dressings, other elevations rubble. Graduated Lakeland slate roofs
except for C20 hardrow tiles on west outshut.

2 storeys, 3 bays, symmetrical; and set-back right bay. 1st floor band.
Central renewed door with fanlight, in round arch with archivolt, flanked by
4-pane sashes. On 1st floor 12-pane sash flanked by 16-pane sashes; all
windows with slightly-projecting sills. Right bay has 4-pane sash, and 16-
pane sash to 1st floor. Coped gables on moulded kneelers; stepped-and-
corniced end stacks.

Left return shows pent outshut with 18-pane Yorkshire sash. To rear a
fielded-panel door beneath a 20-pane sash stair window; and 16-pane sashes.

Interior: Fielded-panel doors. Open-well stair with 3 stick balusters per
tread, moulded ramped handrail and curtail step.

Small brick extension and adjacent greenhouse at east end are not of special
interest.
