Late C16 timber-framed and plastered house with a cross wing at the north end.
Altered in the late C17 and C18. The gable has original pierced bargeboards,
a pendant in the apex and a panel with the initials I.C. above the date 1649.
Two storeys. Casement windows. Roof tiled, with an original central chimney
stack with 4 octagonal shafts. The interior is said to have original plastered
brick fireplaces one with plaster frieze and cornice at ceiling level supported
by pilasters on each side of the fireplace. (RCHM 44).
