Country house. Early C19 and much restored late C20 following
a serious fire which gutted the interior. Stucco with plinth,
mid-floor string and slate hipped roofs behind parapet with
moulded cornice; 1 rendered stack. Large overall L-shaped
plan, probably built in at least 2 phases.
2 storeys; symmetrical 3-window entrance front with central
doorway plus 1-window range wing broken back on the right. C20
windows resembling sashes in original openings. Tetrastyle
Doric porch with unfluted columns and simple moulded
entablature. Round-arched doorway with spoked fanlight and
panelled door; tripartite window to centre break above porch.
7-window left-hand return with central 2-storey canted bay.
INTERIOR: not inspected but former list description notes
plaster ceiling cornices.
