House. Later C18 and C19. Red brick with chequer-work pattern in vitrified
headers. S block may encase an earlier timbered structure. Clay tile
roofs. Double-pile plan main block with C19 addition to rear, lower block to
RH, also with C19 block to rear. All 2-storeyed. Main block: 2 2-storeyed
semi-octagonal projecting bays with hipped roofs. These have round-headed
sash windows to front elevations on both floors. Their side elevations and
the main block central bay have flat-headed sash windows (except for central
ground floor blind window). All windows have glazing bars and gauged brick
heads. Slightly projecting brick stacks to both gable ends. Lower RH
block: sash window and C19 canted bay to ground floor, small sash window to
first floor. 6-fielded-panel door surmounted by semi-elliptical fanlight,
with panelled reveals, pilasters and open pediment hood on large moulded
brackets. Red brick external stack to RH gable end.
