Circa 1860s. Luton grey bricks with yellow brick quoins, Welsh slate hipped
roof. Corner building on 3 storeys with a 3 bay facade to both Bute and Guildford
Street, and typical Luton cut-off corner, which contains the main arched entrance
doorway. The ground floor is rusticated stucco work with two 3-light windows
having wide-arched heads to each facade. The Bute Street side has a plain
secondary doorway. Both elevations have double-hung sash windows to first
and second floors; the first floor windows have architraves and cornices
on consoles, the second floors have architraves.
