Group of three boundary posts. (i) Dated 1804. Plain ashlar upright with a semi-
circular head. Incised lettering reads: "P/L AND W/1804". (ii) Dated 1827, for
Bath Turnpike Trust. Cast iron upright, triangular on plan with half-pyramidal
top. Raised lettering reads: "1827/WIDCOMBE - BATH TURNPIKE TRUST (up the body
of the post and partly buried) - COMBE HAY". (iii) Dated 1912. Cast iron, narrow
upright, triangular on plan. Raised lettering up the sides reads: "CITY OF BATH -
SOMERSET".
