Farmhouse, probably a former manor house. Probably late mediaeval, altered C17
and C20. Rendered; slate roof; ashlar stacks. 2 storeys and attics, in a
steep coped gable at the left end. 4 bays: 2-, 3- and 4-light casement windows,
mostly C19 and C20; dripmoulds at left end; the west gable end has one 5-light
casement window with ovolo moulded mullions and surrounds, and a similar window
survives in a rear 2-storey wing. Off-centre plank door in a chamfered stone
surround with a 4-centred head; a similar, blocked doorway exists in the rear
(right) room. Interior: chamfered beams with scroll stops; large fireplace to the
main ground floor rooms with chamfered lintels; rear winder stair; tie- and
collar beam roof trusses, some re-used, An altered example of a gabled,
vernacular building which was probably the former Brockley Court or manor house.
