Barn. Late C17. Coursed rubble with freestone quoins and dressings; double
Roman tiled roof with coped raised verges on moulded kneelers. 2 storeys.
South-east elevation has a central plank door with strap hinges which have open
scroll ends; chamfered ashlar surround under moulded cornice. Above are a
keyed oval pitching-eye in a hollow chamfered surround and 2 loft doors in
rebated and chamfered surrounds. The south-west gable has 2 partly blocked
Windows in rebated and chamfered surrounds; blocked, keyed oval pitching-eye in
attic; plain door in chamfered surround. North-west elevation. Six 2-light
cross windows on ground floor in rebated and chamfered surrounds; the outer two
are partly blocked and used as doors; 6 keyed oval pitching-eyes in hollow
chamfered surrounds on first floor. Cartshed and loft extension to north-east
has a square-headed carriage entry and an outer flight of 9 steps leading to a
loft door.
