Pair of houses. Mid C18th. Ashlar, double Roman tiled mansard roof with coped
raised verges. Ashlar stacks. 2 storeys and attics in dormers. 2 glazing
bar sash windows set close together per house. Plat band. 6 panel doors under
flat stone hoods on carved brackets to left of each house. Interior of No 214
has enriched plaster ceiling on first floor front room with zoomerphic corner
decoration including birds in high relief. Vestigial panelling and an original
chimney surround survive.
