Farmhouse. Early C18. Red English garden wall bond brick with slate
roof. Three storeys with 4 rooms to each floor around cross corridor
although probably originally having a through corridor. Entrance
front: two bays. Stone plinth of coursed ashlar and stone band
between ground and first floors. Four-light ground floor casements
with cambered heads. Similar to first floor and again to second floor
although smaller in size and with flat lintels. Gable stacks. C19
porch of 2-storey addition to left possibly replacing an earlier
outhouse. Rear: staircase window to centre with flat head. Three
light cambered-headed ground floor windows and similar to first floor
with flat lintels. No second floor fenestration.
Interior: Largely re-used C17 timbers to ceilings.
