Former lavatory for male servants. 1859-60 by William Burges. Projects
from N.W, elevation of former service wing. Circular building like a
Chapter House or monastic kitchen, stone, with steep conical tiled
roof crowned with gigantic carving of head of Cerberus. 4 large
gabled dormers with 2 arched lights and circular opening above. Eaves
gutter with stone rainwater heads over buttresses; plinth and cill
string, 4 2-light moulded stone mullioned windows. Interior brick
divisions now removed.
