9/23 The Wells and barn attached
to south

Small house and barn. C17-C18, altered. Timber frame with brick
infill, lower walls rebuilt in brick,greensand rubble plinth.
Old tile roof, half-hipped to right, with central rebuilt chimney
of thin brick. One storey and attic, 2 bays. C20 barred wooden
casements, those to attic in gabled eaves-line dormers. Central
C20 board door. House now incorporates half-bay of barn to left which
has another barred wooden casement. Remainder of barn is timber
framed with weatherboard cladding, greensand plinth and pantile
roof. Probably 3 small bays with double board doors to left of
centre, and central single board door.
