House. Circa late C15/early C16. Former service range containing kitchen,
butteries and milkhouse with servants chambers over, to former contemporary
central hall range, no longer extant. The other cross-wing (No 1 Lunt Cottages
q.v.) is situated opposite. Timber-framed with two late C15/early C16 cruck
trusses truncated above their collars, and C17 square timber-framing exposed on
south-west wall. The gabled ends faced in C17 or C18 red brick. Two small C18
red brick gabled wings to north-east (rear). Coursed sandstone foundations.
Steeply pitched plain tile roof with gabled ends. Large C16 or C17 sandstone
chimney with two brick diagonal stacks. Two storeys, three bays. C20 case-
ments with glazing bars. C20 lean-to tile roofed porch on south-west elevation.
